Funny you say this, I have actually been thinking of at least riding some miles, first I need a horse that will move with me, I got on one back in the late 70's would not move. We were on a trail ride and I was scared to death of falling off. - Alice Erickson

Alice, I was almost trampled when I was 4 years old but have managed to 'face that fear' and went on a ride up at a Diamond T Ranch. It wasn't really open fields or anything and. of course. my horse was the spirited one that insisted on taking off with me....After I got it stopped, the 'guides' asked me if I was okay. I told them they should have asked earlier! LOL - Bonnie Hamann

The last time I rode the horse took off with me and stopped short in the middle of a stream. I'm sure it was a hilarious sight. Never rode again. I too will have to face my fears. - Alberta Iron Cloud Miller

I was on a horse when I was about 13, and yes that experience would go with these others I was given a leg up by my friend who did it so hard I went right over the horse and ended up on the ground on the other side!! I did manage to get back on and went for a ride but never went again!!! LOL!! - Gloria Hazell Derby

I have had a horse run away with me a couple times (including my own) and have fallen when they turned and I didn't. Scary, but did that stop me? No way! Now I say if they want me to ride, they'll have to get me up there. - Diane R. Anderson

Well of course.. look at me for instance, just got Skype so there is no holding me back now, I can chat to you all over the internet world.. Chatted to Sharlene in SA last night...
