Day 1. December 10th 2019

Prayer for today
Prayers and smoke up tobacco down on this Tuesday morning. Our brothers, sisters, and the horse nation are gathering for our ancestors and for us all. Gathering to honour those that came before us, to honour the sacrifices, to honour the sacred ways, and bring bring healing to this sacred land upon which we walk. As I began this as a Tuesday morning it is truly a most amazing Tuesday to honour the feminine and all that is. To honour the great-grandmothers, grandmothers, and mothers, and our Mother Earth. All that nurtured and carried us into this lifetime. Those that taught us about love, nurturing, survival, and compassion. Those that have the wisdom that allows us to remain humble while being anchored in strength.

Today I ask Creator to watch over us all as we may journey back to a time of anger, heartache, loss, and ultimate sacrifices to allow us all to go forward with open hearts so that we may connect to that wisdom, love, and guidance that is still here for us. That we are open to receive the messages. That the times of sacred ways and days is foremost in our actions. That we are connecting with the ancestors, living how they would be proud of, and knowing that it is right for us and the world.

The teachings are here for us to receive if we continue to listen without outside interference. As we move forward may we be surrounded with the nurturing that the feminine brings us to love ourselves, others, and all that is around us. A connection to that is a beautiful balance in this healing process.

May all of our humbled prayers be heard, our riders, horse nation, supporters, and staff be protected as we share this time in honouring, acknowledging, reconciling, and healing ourselves, families, and the nations.
Blessings
Love, honour, and respect

Day 2. December 11th 2019

Prayer for Today

Prayers and smoke up for the days journey ahead. Creator, we send thanks of gratitude for Jims vision and all who are supporting this. This is for us all... for our ancestors, the women, men, children and the horse nation. Those that never got to heal, those present and afar that need the healing, and for those to come.

Let us remember and honour those that have gone before us. Let us listen to the messages they are sending and allow our actions to be of love, forgiveness, and a path to healing. Please allow this day to bring us all together as one so that we can begin to heal more deeply. Remove our bitterness, our sadness, and all that blocks us from living free in heart. Allow each step of the horse nation to remind us why we are here and share the goodness in us all. Allow us to hear the prayers, the messages, and to feel the love from others and for all.

We thank you for the volunteers, the support staff, the warm accommodations, and all of the meals for our riders and our horses.
Please protect and guide each and every one. Show anyone that is hurting the healthy path they need for relief. Let no brother or sister feel alone on this journey. Remind them they are loved, worthy, and we honour and respect their sacrificies today and always

Day 3. December 12th 2019

Prayer for Today:

Good morning relatives,
Creator today as Father sky has blessed Mother Earth and all upon her with a winter blanket that is beautiful to most of us,and Grandfather Sun is reflecting off of it allowing our eyes to witness shimmering rays of crystal snowflakes. The plant nation has been given some cover for the new life that will come in Spring. The tree nation, four-legged, winged ones, swimmers, crawlers and even the two-legged may have additional water sources when the thaw begins. Icicles dangling from the mane, nostriles, and eyelashes of the horse nation may not feel good, but it tells a story in and of itself. As darkness surrounds, Grandmother Moons beauty lights the way for those still stirring about, and protects others during their slumber. This is the beauty some are blessed to see and experience, but there is another side. A side that most don't acknowledge, know of, or discuss.

Our ancestors endured horrific experiences along this same path some see as just a beautiful moments captured in time.

Creator I offer humbled prayers for the healing of our ancestors that were taken from us,the teachings, the traditions, the pain, and sorrow. Be with them and our horse nation carrying our brothers and sisters along this journey today, as they travel that same path, headed this time toward healing and reconciliation. A moment where we honor their sacrifices.
Allow them all to experience the beauty, the togetherness, the love, and the power of the prayers for healing, a little more, as each day evolves. Let us all travel this path toward healing so that the beauty is seen and felt from the heart, and that the pretty picture becomes, in fact, a reality for all. The beauty is of family willing to sacrifice so much for us all to heal seven back and seven forward. That is the true beauty of this ride for me. The unselfishness of so many that are showing the world how to honour, why to honour, and what pretty pictures really look like.
Please protect and embrace every element of this ride. Allow us to reconnect with our spirits and honor those that came before us, those making this journey, and the ones coming after us.
Honour, respect, love, and hugs to all that are part of our healing.

Day 4. December 13th 2019

Prayer for today

Good morning relatives,
So much gratitude for you all.
Today we are blessed by the full feminine energy of Grandmother Moon so today I ask Creator for that same strength, beauty, love, determination, and light that our feminine ancestors carried through each and every step of pain, sorrow, grief, and suffering. How they fought so hard to carry on each day, having lost so much and so many, some being alone, providing for self and caring for others in new ways to survive. That's what I humbly pray today. That we may each make that connection to the teachings of our grandmothers, mothers, aunts, sisters, and elders. When the time comes that we have no-one, our masculine warriors are gone, we know in our hearts we too are warriors, and when connected to our ancestors and Creator we honour the feminine ones that came before, we stand proud with humbled hearts, and do what we must.

May Grandmother watch over each of our riders, the horse nation, the volunteers, and the support staff as they all peacefully rumble upon Mother Earth today.
Honour and respect

Day 6. December 15th 2019

Prayer for Today:

Blessings to all
Creator, may the day be filled with the abundance that comes with our prayers of hope. Hope for acknowledgement, healing and reconciliation; for when hope is alive, positive action is taken, the results will be powerfully beyond our imagination. I humbly ask you to hear all of our prayers. Provide our riders, horse nation, volunteers, support staff, and admin team everything you know they need.

Ease the hearts of our brothers and sisters that they are carrying during this journey. Let them know we are all with them, they are not alone in this journey.

We hear the cries, we feel the sorrow, and we carry the hope for better days. The old ways are the ways where hope is knowledge, gratitude, understanding, honour, and connectedness to all that is.
And so it is

Day 7. December 16th 2019

Prayer for Today:

Creator we offer prayers and smoke up. Tobacco down. Thank you for another day to walk upon our sacred mother, heart to heart with all. Our hearts are filled with gratitude for the prayers, support, and love that our ancestors, brothers, sisters, volunteers, staff and horse nation are being surrounded with. I hope that with each gently powerful hoofbeat a little more of the darkness is released. Where that darkness once lived upon the land and our ancestors experienced such horrors may light, love, forgiveness, and healing prevail. May we remember, carry honour and respect in our hearts and never allow such actions to be repeated. May our ancestors be as proud of us as well are of them.

Ride well, today, family. We are with you in prayer and spirit. With a humbled heart and much gratitude... thank you

Day 8. December 17th 2019

Prayer for today

Good morning relatives prayers and smoke up tobacco down.
Creator surround our families out here riding for us all with warmth, safety, and the strength of our ancestors. The determination that our grandmother's and theirs had to overcome and preserve through times and situations that others had placed them in. These were events that no two legged need ever experience again. In times of fear, uncertainty, tragedy, and sorrow those that remained upon Mother Earth dug deep like the boar and did everything they had to continue for themselves and us.

On this day I pray we honour that determination. We remember those that nurtured us, carried us into this lifetime supported and protected the sacred ways of life. Many suffered so much and yet they still gave so much to us. Allow us today to bring the memories of them along and surround them with love, honour, and respect. Give them the knowing that we honour their sacrifices. We love them so. Those that were taken from us too soon we acknowledge your pain, your cries and we live and ride peacefully to bring healing across the land for you and for your spirit. Our brothers and sisters are riding for you today. Riding, praying, honouring. We carry your spirit with us upon the ride, in our thoughts, and always in our hearts. Be free and know we are doing this for you, for us, and for the future ones.
Love, honour, and respect
Ride safe, ride proud, ride knowing the healing is happening

Blessings on this beautiful day. Gratitude to Creator for another day to receive the breath.
May everyone rest today, receive warmth for body and spirit, good food, quality shelter and hay for the horse nation, and have some activities to release the mind.
We thank each and everyone involved in this journey. Unless we are out there we have no idea what the experience really is so I offer prayers and smoke up, tobacco down.. Creator knows what is needed and I humbly ask that it is received by each of you.
May our prayers and thoughts continue and may our warriors feel those so their body, mind, and spirit can continue.

Day 10, December 19th 2019

Prayer for Today

Good morning relatives,
On this brisk morning let us give thanks for all of the beauty and blessings we are able to experience.

A few yesterdays ago there was so much hatred and bloodshed upon our lands that there was little beauty to be seen.
Because one brother walked a path with Creator and connected with our ancestors we have an opportunity to connect with the same and bring beauty and blessings across the land once again. Beauty not only seen through the eyes, but beauty felt from the soul. The spirits of our ancestors being honored, being brought on a journey from pain and horror to a place of love ,togetherness, forgivess, and reconciliation. A time to allow their voices to be heard, their pain and sacrifices to not be in vain. A journey that allows our hurts to heal a bit, and leave those that come after us a little less hurt. Creator allow this beautiful journey to affect every heart upon this land. Allow us to open to the beauty within and around. Allow every stomp of the horse nations hooves to rattle the darkness within us and allow it to fall away into a place of forgiveness, healing, and reconciliation.

Protect our family showing us how generational trauma affects us, how we can heal,
how love wins, and how when we unite the ripple is spread across the land. Open us all to the wisdom that this journey is riding with. Embrace our family with the determination and strength that our grandmothers had. Allow them to feel the loving feminine energy embracing them like only a grandmother could. Allow us all to connect to the wisdom of the elders. Open our eyes and our hearts to the beauty of the grandmother's. Let the young ones be open to the teachings of their grandmothers. It is an honour so many of us were not given. We know, however, that when pray and listen those grandmother's can be heard.

Blessings relatives, Creator we thank you for the love, support, safety, and strength of our riders, staff, voluteers, and horse nation. Please surround everyone on this journey with a day of respect and honor. Give them all they need, help ease the pains, the sorrow, and the weight. They are traveling their first day in the state where many more are gathered with support. Help them feel that. May Grandfather Sun warm all bodies with enough energy to carry them through their cold nights. May Grandmother moon watch over them in their slumber, and the star nation be their messengers, until the new light shines again.

Day 12, December 21st 2019

Prayer for Today

Good morning relatives
Creator we offer gratitude for everything you have given us today. Our brothers and sisters are doing so much good for us all... giving voices to the voiceless, showing strength, dignity, and honour. Showing the world what honour and respect looks like in real time. Wrap them each in support, protection, warmth, and hear their prayers.
We send love and respect to women riders that are there honoring our ancestors. In times that are still not favorable to women they are standing, riding and remaining strong. We honour that. They are letting their voices be heard showing us power with dignity.
We need them and we appreciate them.

May the winds be gentle, the sun be warm upon them, and love surround them all.
May warm nights rest and good food bless riders and horse nation.

Much gratitude to all that are part of this journey

Prayer for Today

Blessings to all on this journey. We are in a cycle of longer darkness, colder days, and less activity. Deep inside we have an understanding, a hope and a vision that our days will become brighter, our hearts warmer and our actions bring healing.

The visions are unfolding before us. Let our brothers and sisters continue this journey in safety, strength and peace. Allow love, honour and respect to surround them as they travel with and for our ancestors. Allow the strength and weight of the horse nation to be felt across the lands where damage was done to be filled with healing. Let us reconcile a little more with each hoof placed upon the earth.

Day 15, December 24th 2019

Prayer for Today

Good morning relatives. Prayers and smoke up,tobacco down.

Many folks are running about gathering items for festivities, fighting over items on wish lists, and practicing those beautiful smiles to show in the days to come. Nothing wrong with all that if that's what one does.

Meanwhile our brothers and sisters have traveled hundreds of miles with the horse nation through wind, snow, cold, and heartache to reach a place of reconciliation, forgiveness and healing. A place that shows what fighting causes and what it leads to. There will be "celebration." A celebration of remembrance and honour that we have not forgotten, but we are willing to heal, and that we carry on the teachings, hear the voices, and know the love and determination of our ancestors. A celebration that honours those that sacrificed so much for us. Those that we carry so our hearts can be freed a little more from heaviness and begin to smile. Heart smiles those are the smiles we should show the world. The "celebration" is when we stand with Creator, shoulder to shoulder, hand in hand for the good of the land, the people, and the honour and respect for those that love us, are still with us in spirit, and we live to make proud by remembering, and honouring them.

This is what makes this Texan proud...following a journey that literally demonstrates sacrifice, honour, and respect to those worthy and deserving! Never forgetting those that have gone before us and healing for those that come after. It is an honour to follow and participate in this.

Let the wind be gentle and at your backs, let the sun give you warmth, and let hooves create a rumble that is felt in Mankato from afar. We are almost there. Ride proud relatives there is much love being sent to you.
