for Today
I am amazed that the strength and tenacity of the riders and
horses, but we have that Dakota blood that gives us the perseverance
to live and to achieve our goals to have a good life. I offer
prayers to give the riders peace of mind to know that they give
encouragement to the world to be better human beings. Phidamayayapi
to all the riders, for the horses and the helpers!

Gloria, you and your helpers always do such an amazing job getting
these posts of the daily ride out each day. I don't know how
I stumbled onto your web site, but I have been following the
memorial rides since that time. I have been making copies of
the daily web pages and putting them in binders for the past
3 memorial rides to look back on. After I watched the video,
I always hoped to make a trip to Mankato to welcome the runners,
riders and horses into Mankato. The last ride, my daughter asked
me if I wanted to make a trip to Mankato and I jumped at the
chance. I was thankful it was beautiful weather and not too
much snow when we made the trip. We also had the pleasure of
meeting Jim and Alberta Miller at that time. God's blessings
to you all, stay safe.

Well it's
Christmas Day 2021, and at this point I must say a huge THANK
YOU, to my Admins who have had my back this year. They have
been invaluable to me being able to get these pages out to you
every day. They all know what to do without asking, and have
got on with it. Added new members, answered questions where
they could, and accepted posts for you to see.
I well remember
the years, from 2008, when I did this alone, until eventually
my family couldn't stand me being on the computer almost 24/7
during this real busy, family oriented, time of the year. So
I asked Lou and Cari to join me. Lou, from Iowa, I only knew
from this group, and Cari had been an actual long-time friend
to both myself and my late husband Chuck. She was with me when
he passed and stayed with me for a week or so to give me time
to get myself together, I will always be thankful for that breathing
space she allowed me. I knew both of them would be good work
colleagues, and I was right. Over the past few years I have
added a few more people every year, and many of them have journeyed
on down their road as their Spirit moved them to. I thank all
of them for donating their time to this worthwhile Ride through
the years. This year working alongside me as well as Lou and
Cari are Tom, who lives close to Cari and Mankato, Rosetta,
who lives in AZ, Marge, who is my neice, (Alice's daughter),
and lives close to Pipestone, and my grand-daughter Jenny, also,
like me in England, who is there to be my back up in case anything
happens. I think we have all bases covered between us! By next
year the names may have changed but that is all good.
Well back
to work, moving messages first from all of you, that I have
collected through the Ride. Then finding things that relate
to today's Prayer stop in Mankato.
