When Jenny was only 5 she was performing alongside her grandma Gloria in America, she ended each presentation her grandma did singing the song 'Colours of the Wind', from "Pocahontas'. The presentations were about Native American Cultures and so this song was ideal. "At first we tried to continue talking after Jen had done her song," Gloria says, 'but we soon learned the old adage is true, never follow animals or a child, as the audience was always so taken with her they stopped the show!"

At her first English elementary, Kingscroft, Jen joined the dancing class and the choir, she did the dancing for three years. She participated in the Woking festivals with the choir.

During this time she also joined a stage school for a while and then afterwards joined the Staines Youth Players.
The plays she did with the Staines Players were:

'Converstations' - a one-woman, one-act piece, with Jen playing an abused woman. The actual play was a monologue based on people meeting in a park, but Jen did this piece alone..

'Sleeping Beauty' - Pantomime as Fairy Kookie.

'Living with Lady Macbeth' - Lilly, this was entered into two festivals, where the young players won the 'Best Spirit Award' they then performed it at a supper evening. This was the first youth play to be done alongside an adult play at the supper evening.

'The Ass and the Philosophers' - A comedy one act, Chloe

'In Need of Care' - Reta. Was nominated for most promising youth in Spelthorne Festival.

'Romeo and Juliet' - Juliet. Excerpt performed at a talent show of showcase performances,

'This Desirable Cottage' - Farce. Jen played one of the brides. This was performed in the same hall that rehearsals were held because it was being closed due to lack of funds. All money raised went to keeping it running.

'What Shall We Do With the Body' - the last play with Staines Players youth group. Jenny played a writer.

Then young Staines players closed and Jenny was asked to come to Thorpe players after being spotted by Sharon. She joined their first youth work shop and did the play, "Audition" where she played Lucy, and participated in the workshops. It was performed during the 'One Act Evening', the first youth production to take place.

Jen's next performances were in the 'Not So Olde Tyme Music Hall' evening, where she had various parts, first was the heroine in the melodrama, 'The Grip of Iron', where she played Lucy. Then danced as the hungarian girl Hunyak in 'Cell Block Tango', from 'Chicago'. Where she had to say the following hungarian words,
"Mit kersek, en itt? Azt mondjok, hogy a hires lakem lefogta a ferjemet en meg lecsaptam a fejet. De nem igaz, en artatlan vagyok. Nem tudom mert mondja Uncle Sam hogy en tettem. probaltam a rendorsegen megmayarazni de nem ertettek meg."
and then did various other dancing and singing including 'Hello Dolly' (which was dedicated by Jenny to her great grandma, Dolly, who had passed away a few months earlier) 'Won't you buy my pretty flowers', 'Flash bang wallop' and a Beatles medley from the 60's.

In the Autumn of 2008 Jenny did 'After Liverpool' which was rehearsed in under 6 weeks, she played 11 different characters, it was performed with just her and Billy Reynolds. For this play Jenny won the 'Most Promising Youth' at Woking Drama Festival. They also performed the same play in the Spelthorne Drama Festival and are hoping to repeat it in front of the public next year. They were also nominated for the Adjudicators Award.

The play performed at Thorpe on 31st January, 2009 was 'The Reduced Panto' Jenny played Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, Little Red Riding Hood, Snow White, Daddy Bear and Aladdin! (Ten pantos in an hour!) (Thorpe Youth Group.)

During all of the rehearsals Jenny has been in and out of hospital with endometriosis flare-ups. She is hoping that it will not affect any of the productions she is working on.
Update: In February 2009 Jenny had surgery for the endometriosis and is now looking forward to a normal life after 5 years of pain.
