38 + 2 Memorial Ride 2017
December
18th - Day 9
After
breakfasting in Pipestone, the Ride has recently
left heading the 29 miles to Russell. (See Marge
DeRuyter's video below). Tonight the horses will
be housed at a Farm Corral in Russell and the
Riders and support people will be staying at the
Russell Community Center. Lunch will be with the
Chuck wagon and Dinner will be at the Russell
Community Center.
On a personal note many thanks to my Dakota Family
in Pipestone for another year's cooking and support.
I miss you all.
Thanks
to Russell for all they are doing today for
the Ride. again it is much appreciated. The
photo is of Russell in the 1920's.

Each moment of our lives holds so many different
feelings and teachings. May we be reminded that
our moments of darkness, anger, sadness,or hurt
can always be met with light, love, happiness, and
healing.
May
today be filled with an abundance of all that
is loving for each and every rider, supporter, volunteer, and
four legged.
May
we all honor this journey; see this healing is
for our ancestors, for ourselves, and for our future.
May
Creator protect you all as make this journey,
today. May your voices be heard, pieces of your
hearts be mended,and souls freed!
Blessings to all
Journey on warriors!
Love,honor,respect,and gratitude.
Prayers for all,and many thanks to everyone providing
shelter, food, and love to the riders and horses.

Thank you to those who shared your hearts with
us tonight in Marshall. Blessings to all of you.
I especially liked hearing from the 17 year old
young man - I feel like he could be my grandson,
and I am carrying him in my heart as such.
