I think this was a lovely post that came in during the 2017 Ride. I am sharing again now.
This is a wonderful message from a new member Tiffany Joseph who is feeling content.
'I speak for all the ladies in the South Dakota woman's prison who wish they could b there for the riders .. once we learned about the ride we followed n tried to do what we could for the riders .. one year we raised money in support of them.from the ladies inside who send out prayers each day, go to sweat as well as have their pipes ceremony for them. Shirley Crane educated us about the ride so what we would love for all riders to know is that all the woman locked up are praying hard for u n are there in spirit'.

I'm happy you've decided to put out the posts like previous years. The last ride I was fortunate, along with my daughter, to be able to attend the welcoming of the riders into Mankato. Keep up the great work and prayers for the riders and horses

This horse looks like one from way back in 2014. I love the tobacco ties around its neck.
The Riders were praying at the Crow Creek Memorial, and in a photo we saw that the horse had it's eyes closed and it looked like it too was praying. Over the years I have noticed a number of horses do the same thing when Ceremony is going on.
I'm adding the old 2014 photo below.

I love you all and all of you continue to give strength in a good way. Ignore the negative, Uphold the positive continue to refuse to even coment on negativity, we are for healing forgiveness and unity of the six colors, four directions and colors of man ,green the earth, and blue ,that which is above all. Every human of every society and faith holds a piece of the puzzle and one day we will all need to come together to see the true and good picture. - kodapi .~mn renegade
