Well let me say this. I've been on this road for awhile now, I think since I was eight or so. It came as a vision, you know, the same thing over and over again. Well, I had the privilege to marry a wonderful, loving, German, Irish, Lakota woman." Whom, after I told her what was going on in this thick head of mine, had asked me to listen and follow my vision.

Visions are private and should not be spoken too much about but let me say this, I cut C'anupa's. And as a matter of fact, I just cut a C'anupa for one of ARVOL'S relatives. His mother ( J's) not Arvols, had asked me for a favor, and that was it. I only cut C'anupas after I've been told too, "spirit" huh. So the request was a little unusual.

I live around Chicago, a long way from the Rez, and I was enjoying a beer in a little pizza joint down from the store that I own, talking crap about Leonard Crow Dog, to a friend of mine. Well, the bar tender asked me if I met the new cook yet, I said no, but would like to. She went in the kitchen and came out afew minutes later with this little long haired guy who introduced himself as "Leonard Crow Dog Jr! Coincidence you say, yeah, right.

My point is that people just don't "find" this way of life, it finds you. You're invited, Creator, Spirit, maybe by a friend, or family member but it's all the same you're invited. To the ones whom have found this, Aho! it's good to see and pray with you.

The things that Arvol, are saying are true. Things have to be done about all the people whom are disrespecting sacred and ceremonial things! People who charge for ceremony, people who sell sacreds, like C'anupas on E-bay! Hey man, start there! like some skins broke in to the Vatican, stole the Popes' sacreds, and are auctioning them off!! " p.s. I have nothing against the Pope by the way, I respect all that is sacred and holy. But, yeah, something needs to be done. The cats out of the bag so to speak, Creator has found people all over to world to pray like this, to walk with a pipe, a C'anupa and now Creator is wrong? Wrong because there's this "Native American" Medicine man banging women in his lodge. Wrong because there's some German or English guy following their vision to pray like this, and don't have the convenience of the Local card holding Lakota to help with the correct ceremonial protocol. Like this is the "EASY" way out or something.

I thought going to a Church of your choice, being told how rotten and messed up you are, and of all the sins you've committed and how you're going to Hell, But, wait, give me $20.00 U.S. and you'll be saved, and have a place right next to Jesus. I don't think that I need to discuss what responsibilities a PIPE CARRIER has, we all know these things. But Creator is wrong. wrong because it chose these humble people. I say humble because of those people out there who have had the privilege of a good old fashioned 100 stone sweat knows the definition of the word (humble).

And its Whities fault that kids are killing themselves on the Rez, in fault because he's misusing the medicine. Kids are killing themselves all over the world!!. Killing themselves because they can't compete, compete in a world that only likes and accepts you if you look and act in a certain way. But its okay to drive down to Valentine, come back with a bunch of beer, get drunk and beat up your wife or kids, HEY!! that's a great Lakota virtue. you know what I mean.

Yeah, something needs to be done about people conducting ceremony in the incorrect way both White AND Lakota. And who's going to lead the way, light the path for all to follow. I was told that it was said a long time ago, that ALL people were going to return to the fire, and their visions are wrong too. No, maybe just Arvols.

I heard about his statement last year, a really good friend of mine called me( a really well known SKIN) with a condensed version and asked me what I was going to do. I quoted Charleston Heston and said "Out of my cold dead hands" will my C'anupa leave me. He laughed, and said cool, I knew you would say that.

And thats not out of disrespect, but out of respect that I do what I do. I "gift" all what I create, to people, Skins, Natives, Traditionals', True bloods, Half breeds, but did you see whats missing, yeah, you guessed it Whitie. Maybe with all the pipes that Arvol is supposed to be collecting he might find it in his heart to gift them back to the people. Hopefully they dont end up on E-bay. Oh, by the way, where's the calf pipe?? I guess the people haven't seen it in awhile and their getting alittle concerned.

I've met a lot of wonderful people over the years, both good and bad, Red and White, Black, Brown, Yellow, and alittle "overcooked" but all in all better than your average bear. But I've also have had some wonderful teachers also; Leonard Crow Dog, Mary Crow Dog i.e (Brave bird), (June bug) Leonard Crow Dog Jr, Maria and Sonia Holy Eagle, Ivan (Louie) Thunder Hawk, Murial Blacksmith, Grandma Tyson, just to name afew. But hey! Their visions and voices are all wrong too.
