Morning. Today the Riders are having a well earned rest in Flandreau.

When I opened this page this morning I saw to my amazement that the photo above from 2013 is of the horses making their way in the snow to Flandreau. When I chose each photo of Julie's for each day I didn't actually know which would go on which page until I named each one and saved it. ( I then add each days info as I go along and it is easier to do a blank page for each day ready for that info.) On this one I guess Spirit moved me to add Flandreau to page eight! I love the way Spirit works.

Lou Fuentes Admin Sadly, this my was last day on the ride. I use the word "ride" loosely as I never even sat on a horse!!! I had two "spur of the moment" offers but had already made other commitments. Anyway, I'll keep the map updated and post any info I get from the ride. Manifest Destiny is what I call this peace, a lot of thought and prayer went into this one.
Some people may think that it's just a drawing but it's not, it's more then that..
Each of you will have your own thoughts and will come up with your own opinions.
My thoughts turn to the riders and how much of an honor it is to take part.
I just want to say thank you for taking the time out of your daily lives to get on your horses each morning to recognize the lives lost in such a tragic time of our people.
Remember and pray to our ancestors for strength and guidance along the way.
