Good morning all. Today is the second day of the Ride and they leave the Fort Thompson and go 30 miles to Wessington Springs Wessington Springs Breakfast this morning was done by Fort Thompson Mona Rencountre Wopida Tanka to Dolly Bird of Crow Creek and Chad LaPointe (Sicangu) who fed all the riders and supports last night. She cooked all the food by herself and Chad and Hope His Law served the people. She is a Was'te Dakota winyan!! Tonight the horses will stay at The Fairgrounds and the Riders will stay at Wessington Springs 4-H Building. Dinner will be at the United Methodist Church at 6pm. Thanks go to all of the people who are helping in Wessington Springs Gitte Falck Asmussen It's nice that the horses and the riders are being taken care of. This is a wonderful messge from a new member Tiffany Joseph is feeling content. I speak for all the ladies in the South Dakota woman's prison who wish they could b there for the riders .. once we learned about the ride we followed n tired to do what we could for the riders .. one year we raised money in support of them.for the ladies inside they send out prayers each day, go to sweat as well as have their pipes ceremony for them. Shirley crane educated us about the ride so what we would love for all riders to know is that all the woman locked up are praying hard for u n are there in spirit. Dec 10th 2017
