These
are all old shops and businesses, in Staines from the 1800's to the
1960's.
I have put them in alphabetical order, rather than where they were
located. The # is their phone number back from 1930
The
first shop is the oldest in Staines. It changed through the years
but was owned by the same family.
DENYER
1560's - 33 High Street. Corner of High Street & Thames Street,
(where Debenhams is now). Saddlers, Harness
Makers Etc. (They actually had a model horse on the frontage of
their shop, it looked like a toy!)
